August 28 to September 7, 2013 in Venice
A great classic turns 70: the International Exhibition of the Venice Film Festival is approaching the seventh decade with the usual baggage of expectations, previews and worldliness.
The 70. Venice International Film Festival, organized by La Biennale di Venezia, will be held at the Lido di Venezia from August 28 to September 7, 2013, directed by Alberto Barbera.
The Festival wants to promote the knowledge of international cinema in all its forms of art, entertainment and as an industry, in a spirit of freedom and dialogue. The Show retrospectives and homages to major figures as a contribution to a better knowledge of the history of cinema.
Gravity, the new, highly anticipated movie directed by Alfonso Cuarón, starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney, opens the exhibition.
