BIT 2014

February 15, 2014 Fieramilano hosts the new edition of BIT, the International Tourism Exchange , the great event dedicated to travel and vacation.
The BIT is held in Milan since 1980 and is now a fixture for professionals and also for those who want to organize their holidays , with a breadth of ideas and offers unrivaled . With 86 thousand square meters, 2,000 exhibitors from 120 countries of the world , the exhibition attracted a total of 90 thousand visitors a year.

The event will be divided into three main areas : Italy, dedicated to the beautiful country and further divided into four areas , The World , and a new entry Business Village, which will provide space for hotel chains , tour operators, service companies.

For professionals : BIT is open 13 to 15 February from 9.30 to 18 . Free admission for those who register by February 12, 20 Euros per day for those who do not register . For visitors: BIT is open Saturday, February 15 , from 9:30 to 18 . The entrance ticket costs 5 € (no pre-registeration) .

Franciacorta Festival

From 28 to 29 September 2013 in the province of Brescia –

Franciacorta, the Lombard area which gives its name to the famous spumante, celebrates with the “Franciacorta Festival”, scheduled for September 28 to 29.

Festival delle Sagre

Asolo Art Film Festival

August 30 to September 8, 2013 in Asolo (Treviso)

Asolo hosts the 32nd edition of the Asolo Art Film Festival: the event, as always, invites the talents of cinema and animation to submit their work to compete for the prestigious prizes at the Festival.

The competition is divided into two sections: Films on Art, works dedicated to art in all its forms and works of historical reconstruction and critical interpretation to art; Artist Biographies, for works of historical reconstruction and critical interpretation dedicated to artistic people.

The works will be projected during the course of the Art Film Festival, running from 30 August to 8 September 2013. The Jury will award the following prizes: Grand Prize for the best work in Asolo competition; Premio Asolo for the best films about art; Premio Asolo for the best biography of the artist, Gian Francesco Malipiero Award for best original soundtrack.


Golfo dei Poeti Film Festival

From 22 to 24 August 2013 in Lerici (La Spezia)

Lerici hosts “Poets’ Gulf Film Festival”, the International Short Film Competition organized by the Municipality in collaboration with Life Model Agency div. Cinema, Independent Filmmakers addressed to Italian and foreign Associations that have produced short films.

The intent of the “Poets ‘Gulf Film Festival’ is to enhance, promote and disseminate the short film as an art form and language of art by emerging and talented Filmmaker.

The policy of competition is to give greater visibility to the event: for this outdoor screenings take place on location in Rotonda Vassallo Park and Shelley Park, in the beautiful surroundings of the town of Lerici.

Rievocazione storica della Macia

From 14 to 16 August 2013 in Spilimbergo (Pordenone)

 

Spilimbergo hosts the XXII edition of the Historical Re-enactment of Macia, a traditional event which takes its name from the ancient measure of length for cloth, the Macia in fact, in use in Spilimbergo (certified in 1438), a copy of which is engraved on the pillar of the Palace the loggia in the Piazza del Duomo.

The event recreates the atmosphere of the daily life of the city, one of the most important political and cultural in Friuli, in the early sixteenth century. In particular, the event repeats the performance in key events of the city in the period in which they were lords young brothers Roberto and Adriano Spilimbergo.

Leonardo Da Vinci. L’uomo, La Natura, La Scienza

Venice is hosting an exhibition of great interest, focused on the man who probably best embodies all the virtues of human intelligence: Leonardo da Vinci.

The exhibition “Leonardo Da Vinci. Man, Nature, Science, “by the Director of the Cabinet of Drawings of the Venetian Accademia Annalisa Perissa will be open to the public, in the Accademia Gallery, from September 1 to December 1, 2013.

The exhibition is built around the exceptional group of autograph sheets of the master of Vinci, preserved in the Venetian collection since 1822, 25 graphic works, usually never visible to the public, which have been exhibited at galleries all together one last time in 1980 .

Among them stands out the famous study of human proportions, known as the Vitruvian Man, a superb interpenetration between art and science, the result of a synthesis unsurpassed harmonic representation, which has become a symbol of classical perfection of body and mind, human and divine, a microcosm a human scale which is the reflection of the entire cosmos.

13 to 15 September 2013 in Padua –

Padua is home to the sixth Hall of Flight – Air Festival, from 13 to 15 September 2013 at Civilian Airport of Padova “Gino Allegri”. The exposure of the products and the presentation of the services of the companies listed is integrated into a program of conferences, workshops and exhibitions.

Kaulonia Tarantella Festival

27 to 31 August, 2013 in Caulonia (Reggio Calabria)

 

The Kaulonia Tarantella Festival 2013 will take place August 27 to 31 in the picturesque scenery of Piazza Month, in the heart of the old town of Caulonia (RC).
